Multitasking
I am now officially not only a staff photographer but also “Special Projects Web Designer” at the Post-Herald. This does not get me any more money (ah, well) but does give the flash projects I’ve been generating a bit more clout. As the newsroom talks about increasing our web projects, this makes me excited for the possibilities ahead. Plan A: incorporation of audio.

New York Times!
I have what I think is my first photo ever in the New York Times, so it’s an exciting day for me. It’s a business photo that I made for Bloomberg News at a Wal-Mart in Birmingham of the lovely Linda Ezekial. You can see it at this link:
I believe that it ran four colums. If anyone has a spare, it’s from Saturday August 6 in the business section, and I’d love a copy.

Well, I’m not sure what this site will entail, but I figured I’d jump on the bandwagon and try it out. I’m going to try and not give in to too many narcissistic urges, although I’m pretty sure that’s what personal blogs are in general. I may end up talking about photoj, or not. In any case we’ll see what happens. What do you want to see here?
