Working the Wire

I had a blast at the LOOK3 Festival of the Photograph, and apparently so did the rest of WPOW, aka the Women Photojournalists of Washington, see above.

Not only did I fill my head with amazing photography, hear lectures by Mary Ellen Mark and James Nachtwey, and party (twice) at the house David Alan Harvey rented, best of all was hanging out with all the wonderful photographers from Washington and beyond who I am honored to call my friends.

I also had not one, not two, but FOUR photos chosen for the WPOW slideshow that ran at the festival. I couldn’t believe that many made it, it was a great surprise. Once I have arranged the online version of the slideshow for WPOW I will share the link here as well.
