Wrapping up 2011

My favorites images that I made in 2011 are a pretty diverse group. I didn’t realize until looking over the edit what a variety of assignments I worked on this year. From traveling with Secretary Clinton to Rome for talks on Libya (above), to the Occupy movement in DC, shifts at the White House, pro sports, personal work in Mexico and Laos, shooting video of the opening of the Martin Luther King Memorial  _ ending the year on the high note of getting married myself – it’s been a pretty eventful 2011.

I’ve also added a slideshow of personal work I did in Laos this year. It was fascinating to explore one of the last remaining communist nations in the world. Many thanks are due to the Canadian non-profit “Adopt A Village in Laos” who helped me with the logistics of this fascinating country and introduced me to some of its people.

Here’s to a productive 2012, and a happy and healthy new year to each of you.
